Mike is an Enterprise Solutions Architect for Sparkhound, Inc. with over 9 years of experience in developing business solutions for Enterprise, Mid-market, and governmental customers. Five of those years have been as a consultant working with clients such as Jiffy Lube, Pennzoil, Enron, Microsoft, the State of LA, Amedisys, and Community Coffee. Mike has been working on projects with .NET technologies since .NET 1.0 and SQL Server technologies since 7.0. He is an active .NET MCSD and MCDBA certified professional. This year he began working with Analysis Services in delivering Business Intelligence solutions to customers.

BIO
Jeremy Beckham is a Senior Developer for High Power Consulting, Inc. and has over 5 years of experience in .Net and SQL Server development. He's worked on projects ranging from ASP.Net MVC websites to enterprise wide custom ERP systems. He specializes in application integration and has built integration solutions including custom FTP interfaces for portal applications, socket interfaces for the Louisiana State Police's Law Enforcement Messaging Switch, interfaces for content management systems such as FileNet and IBM Content Manager, and the correspondence generation system Thunderhead. He has worked extensively with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services including dynamic image generation inside of reports and building report models for Adhoc Reporting.
Ray has been working with SQL Reporting services since 2000. He has implemented Reporting Services at the following companies: C&M Medical Services, Ginger Mae Financial Services (GMFS), Transformyx, DPS (Unysis) and FuelTrac.

Using Adhoc Reporting with SQL Server Analysis Services
SQL Server Reporting Services ships with an Adhoc reporting tool called Report Builder. The Report Builder allows end users to choose a pre-defined template and report model to create reports on the fly. The user simply drags and drops fields that the developer has sent up in the report model onto the canvas. The user can apply filters and then display the report or even save it for future use.
